MARKETING
ASA Racing is searching for a Marketing individual for the 2012 season. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years experience, preferably in sports and/or motorsports with a background in event promotion, advertising and sponsorship. Sales experience is a benefit as this position also is responsible for both in-house and outside sales representatives.
Excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and above average computer skills in Microsoft Office and Powerpoint are a prerequisite. We are searching for people who can manage multiple projects with varying deadlines, understands the role of PR in event promotion, and knows the basics of the AP Stylebook. Candidate must enjoy writing, interviewing and producing editorial for both Internet uses as well as for a magazine. Ideal applicants will also have some background in web site updating, and/or public address announcing. This position requires moderate travel, and applicants must be able to travel surrounding the weekend events.
This position is based in Daytona Beach, FL, so local candidates or those willing to relocate are preferred.
