ASA Member Tracks

The ASA Member Track program is designed for weekly short track venues to make available many of the policies, principles, procedures and components that have made the ASA Racing a premier short track sanctioning body for 36 years.

Participating tracks receive contributions to their year-end points fund, marketing opportunities, and join a small, select group of elite tracks displaying the ASA Member Track logo. ASA Member Tracks showcase exciting competition with their local racing programs, providing training grounds for the ASA Racing stars of tomorrow. Through the ASA Member Track program, “We Build Champions."

ASA Racing offers racing through the rapidly expanding ASA Member Track program, as well as regional touring series and ASA Member Track / Level 2.

Corpus Christi Speedway located at 241 Flato Road, Corpus Christi, Tx 78405 is one of the oldest racetracks in the country that has been in continual operation. The high-banked quarter-mile asphalt track built in 1945, hosts drifting events on Fridays, Texas True Stock, Texas Thunder, Super Street and Southern Pro-4’s on Saturday evenings, and Super Kart events on Sundays.
A variety of regional touring series, including Pro Modifieds, Pro Trucks and Allison Super Legacy cars, Texas Dwarf Stock, Texas Thunder, Super Street and Southern Pro-4 also show.

This one-third mile oval, formerly known as Dells Motor Speedway, located in Wisconsin Dells, WI, was sold in early February to a group of locals. With the support of the Bank of Wisconsin Dells, Joe Graziano, Lance Fielitz and Frank Kreyer became the new owners and promoters of the asphalt racetrack with strong ties to the Midwest racing scene dating back to the 1950s.

The regular Saturday night program will feature Super Late Models, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, Limited Late Models and Bandits. Special events will include Wisconsin Challenge Series races and the ASA Midwest Tour.
 
  Desoto Super Speedway

Desoto Super Speedway in Bradenton, FL has been in continual operation since it was constructed in the early 1970s and is a 3/8-mile paved oval with 12 degree banking through the turns. With seating for 5,000, the fans are able to see a wide range of cars during the normal Saturday night program. The variety of classes competing at Desoto includes Winged Springs, Open Wheel Modifieds, Super Late Models, Turner Tree Landscape Limited Late Models, and the new Sun State Outlaw Street Stocks which combines the Bombers, Street Stocks and Pure Stocks into one division. John Sarppriacone, owner/promoter has added a number of different events to the track schedule including drifting, tractor pulls, and Figure 8 School Bus races.
 
  Dillon Motor Speedway

The Dillon Motor Speedway sits just off of I-95 in rural Dillon County, South Carolina. It is being built by former NASCAR Driver Ron Barfield and Former European Racer Stuart Jackson. The Track is being constructed on the site of the old Dillon dirt track. A 4/10 mile asphalt speedway is rising out of the once overgrown field. Ron and Stuart along with many others have made building the new track a labor of love. The new track will include the old grand stands and have progressive banking in the corners and electronic scoring. The track will be known for short track racing, southern style but with a British flare.
 
  Douglas County Speedway

The 0.375-mile paved oval is situated on the grounds of the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Roseburg, Oregon. Douglas County Speedway underwent a $400,000 renovation and facelift only a few years ago, has covered grandstands with seating for 5,000 and is paved throughout. The weekly track program features several classes, including Late Models, Sprint Cars, Modifieds, Street Stock, Mini Stock, J-Cars and Hornets.
 
  East Bay Raceway Park

East Bay Raceway located at 6311 Burts Road in Tampa Florida, is a 1/3 mile clay (dirt) oval. Racing for the regular season begins the last Saturday in February and runs through the end of September. Regular classes that compete are 360 Sprints, Late Models, Limited Late Models, Mini Stocks and Street Stocks. Wingless Limited Sprints compete every other week. Other classes throughout the season are Open Wheel Modifieds, Pure Stocks and Antique Race. Special Events during the year include the Winter Nationals which runs from the end of January through February. This is 17 straight days of racing. 360 Sprints, Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds and 410 Sprints race at the "ACTION TRACK OF THE SOUTH".
 
  Fergus Falls Raceway

Fergus Falls Raceway, located in Fergus Falls, Minn., is a 3/8 mile, ASA sanctioned, high-banked asphalt oval that hosts racing on Friday nights. The track has five exciting divisions competing on a weekly basis: Late Models, Modifieds, Thunder Cars, UCARs and Enduros.

Franklin County Speedway Located at Callaway, Virginia is a three-eighths mile asphalt oval with Corner banking (22 degrees) and Straights banking (12 degrees). The turns are 60 feet wide and the straights are 50 feet wide. They currently feature the following divisions LATE MODEL STOCK, LIMITED SPORTSMAN, MOD 4, STREET STOCK, and UCAR
 
  Friendship Motor Speedway

Friendship Motor Speedway was constructed in 1982 as a dirt track. In January of 2003, it was converted to a paved D-shaped oval. Friendship Motor Speedway is making a major change for the upconming season -- they are turning the 0.4 mile facility into a dirt track. "We are putting red clay on top of the pavement." said Phil Hall, Friendship Motor Speedway (FMS) promoter. Hall, along with his partner Dennis Woods, is now managing the Elkin, N.C., racetrack. Featured divisions include Modifieds, Late Model Stocks, Late Model Super Trucks, Pure Stocks, Mini Cups and a variety of special touring divisions.
 
  Hartford Motor Speedway

Listed as a half-mile clay oval, in Hartford, Michigan is really closer to a 5/8-mile racetrack, Hartford Motor Speedway has had a long and unique history. First built as a dirt track, it was paved in the 1970’s. It then reverted back to a dirt track in the 1980s, and even lay dormant for more than a decade. It seats 6500 for the regular Friday night program featuring UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, UMP Factory Stock and UMP Pure Stock.
 
  Havasu 95 Speedway

The most scenic 1/4 mile asphalt track in the Southwest, Havasu 95 Speedway is located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Lake Havasu City is located along the Colorado River approximately 20 miles south of Interstate 40. Lake Havasu City is approximately 180 miles northwest of Phoenix, AZ, 150 miles south of Las Vegas, and 45 miles south of Bullhead City, AZ and Laughlin, NV.

Havasu 95 Speedway runs a winter schedule to avoid the grueling desert heat during the "traditional" racing season. The regular Saturday evening program includes Late Models, Modifieds, Legends, Pure Street Stocks, Factory Stocks and Bandoleros competing from September through the May season-finale. A number of special touring series as well, including the ASA Speed Trucks, West Coast Pro Trucks, USAC Ford Focus Midgets and even a Monster Truck show can also be seen. Houston Motorsports Park is home of one of America's Premiere 3/8 mile, high banked, asphalt oval short track, with concrete turns. This state of the art complex, is situated in a park like setting inside Beltway 8, on the North-East side of Houston, only 25 minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport. It has been designed after Texas Motor Speedway, including computerized transponder timing system and VIP suites.
 
  I-25 Speedway

I25 Speedway is an Oversized Highly Banked 1/4 Mile Paved Oval, with 325' Fast Straight aways. I25 Speedway is located along the Front Range of the Rockies in Southern Colorado. They are a Full Service Track, with State of the art Lighting, Racing Fuel, Goodyear Tires, and Paved Parking for the Handicap with Access. Food, Beer, Souvenir Shop, Photo Booth, and many more services. They are completely reconfiguring I-25 Speedway, changing the banking in the turns and making it parabolic. This means that it will have progressive banking which is flatter on the bottom and curves up to 23 degrees at the top which will be the fastest way around the track. Basically, we are making a mini-Bristol (in a reference to the famous Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway.) The straights will become banked at nine degrees, up from the current six degrees.
 
  I-94 Raceway

Located near the intersection of I-94 and Highway 71 in Minnesota, featuring a Saturday night program, fans can see action all around this 0.375-mile oval. Weekly racing at the I-94 Raceway will again feature five exciting classes of cars including: ASA Super Late Models, Modifieds, Legend Cars, Thunder Cars and UCARs. ASA Super Late Model drivers will not only be competing for the Track Championship, but will have a chance to compete for the ASA National Championship and the Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil Champion's Award. The regular Saturday night program will be augmented with a variety of special events Track elevation 1,250 ft.
 
  Illiana Motor Speedway

  This Schererville, Indiana track has been drawing fans from Chicago and the upper Midwest area for 61 years. New grandstands have been added this year, and the track is really two tracks in one. Saturday nights the Super Late Models, and the Schepel Performance Limited Late Models provide the action on the half-mile paved oval. Turbo Stox, Pure Stock and Legend and Bandoleros take the smaller quarter-mile. Plus there is a Figure 8 circuit.  
  Jackson Speedway

Jackson Speedway in Jackson, Minnesota has been in continual operation since becoming a weekly operation in 1954. Incredibly, the racing surface was first laid out sometime in the 1800s making it one of the oldest facilities in the United States. A complete renovation was made in 2001 which included new bleachers, VIP boxes, catch fencing, bathrooms and concessions stands. A unique idea for 2008 is an innovative new infield spectator seating area. The spectator seating provides exciting views of the half-mile dirt racetrack and the 360 Sprintcars that are featured at the track. The Saturday night program also features Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks.
 
  Lonesome Pine Raceway

Lonesome Pine Raceway located at 10800 Norton-Coeburn Rd., Coeburn, VA 24230, is a 3/8 mile Asphalt racetrack. Regular classes that compete Saturday Nights are Late Model, Street Stock. Mod-4 and Pure-4 plus a new division the Lonesome Pine Raceway Charger Division. The track has been operating since 1972 and seats 6,500. It has a State-of-the-Art Public Address System and Television quality lighting plus Private Air-Conditioned VIP Suites.
 
  Madison International Speedway

Madison International Speedway is located in the beautiful countryside of the Town of Rutland just ten miles south of Madison. The half-mile paved oval, constructed in 1969, was built for speed as Wisconsin's fastest times ever on a half-mile have been set at MIS. In 2006 a quater mile paved oval was added to allow for more drivers to race at MIS. Super Late Models, Limited Late Models, Area Sportsman, Bandits, Legends, Super Trucks Short Trackers, Internationals, and Hobby stocks plus special events the ASA Midwest Tour, Tractor Pullers, ASA Late Model Northern Series, Wisconsin Challenge Series, & Pro Pullers. Grandstand seating is available for over 10,000 fans with free parking.
 
  Meridian Speedway

Meridian Speedway is located in southwest Idaho, 10 miles east of Boise. The quarter -mile oval has eight degree banking and will see 21 different classes of cars competing. The general manager of Meridian Speedway is former Indy Racing League and Indianapolis 500 competitor Davey Hamilton.

Norway Speedway is a third mile oval track that is slightly banked. The track, originally a dirt track, was built in 1942 and was black topped in 1978. .The Norway Speedway offers a weekly Friday night racing programs at the Dickinson Co. Fairgrounds located at N1476 US Highway 8 in Norway, Michigan. Competing weekly are the Pepsi Late Models - Auto Value Super Stocks - Wally's Auto Slammers and the DQ Dog Four Cylinders!!
 
  Orange Show Speedway

Orange Show Speedway quarter-mile oval with it’s 10.5-degree banked turns has 4-5 divisions including Super Late Models, Pro-4’s, Late Models, Street Stocks, Stock Pony and Pure Stocks. Thanks to the favorable Southern California weather in San Bernadino, the facility is open from March to November.
 
  Red River Speedway

Red River Speedway located in North Wichita Falls, Texas., is a 1/4 mile asphalt oval. The racers will appreciate the freshly paved pit area offering more than 200,000 square feet of hard surface parking and work space. Of even greater importance to the competitors is the new electronic scoring system. By incorporating transponders into each of the race cars, arguments should quickly be resolved when it comes to the "bragging rights"” among the competitors.

Fans will immediately notice the new midway area including a brand new playground for the kids and a new party deck available for rental. "We envision the party deck being used for company parties and group outings," stated owner Mike Nowels. The deck will host up to a 100 people with food and beverage catering available. Also new this season is the addition of an autograph session prior to the races allowing fans to get an autographed picture with their favorite racer prior to race start.

Red River Speedway first began operations in the 1950s. They feature an aggressive mix of local divisions and six different touring series. The regular Saturday night program includes Hornets, Chargers, Bombers and Thunder Stock divisions. Throughout the season, regional touring series will visit the track including the Texas Pro Sedans, Texas Super Racing Series, United States Super Trucks Legends, Thunder Roadsters, and NASKART.
 
  Rocky Mountain Raceways

Located in West Valley City, Utah, RMR is a 3/8-mile asphalt oval with seating for 5200 spectators and VIP suites. In addition to the oval track, the multi-purpose facility includes an NHRA drag strip, motocross course, and the world’s first manmade rock crawling facility. Track elevation 4,200 ft.
 
  Skagit Speedway

Skagit Speedway, located just east of the Pacific Ocean in beautiful Alger, Wash., is unquestionably one of the finest dirt short tracks in the country. Built in 1954, and in continual operation since, the 0.3-mile dirt track is not resting on its laurels. Skagit Speedway owner Steve Beitler is currently widening his track to allow for even racier events. The weekly Saturday night program features 410 Sprint Cars, 360 Sprint Cars, Sportsman Sprint Series and Outlaw Hornet divisions. Special events include the running of the Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup presented by Camping World RV and the annual World of Outlaws visit.

Thunderhill Raceway located outside of Austin, is a Semi-Banked D-Shaped Oval, 3/8 mile asphalt track. Late Models, Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks, and Grand Stocks, as well as Special Traveling Series: USRA Super Late Models (formally ROMCO), USRA AllStar Race Trucks, Texas Super Racing Series Late Models, Legends, Texas Pro Sedans, Bandeleros, and MORE!

Bill Sawyer's Virginia Motor Speedway heads into it's 37th year of operation and is located conveniently on U.S. Route 17 just 8 miles north of Saluda, Virginia, just a short driving distance from the Richmond, Fredericksburg and Hampton Roads areas. The Speedway boasts a 1/2-mile dirt surface with 14 degree banking and offers 17 television quality MUSCO light poles, 4 tier outside guardrail and 3-tier inside guardrail retaining structures. The Infield and competitor pit areas are surface treated with a tar and gravel mixture. VMS is a state of the art facility utilizing the AMB Automated Timing and Scoring System in four of the tracks five divisions and for 2006 has also mandated the use of the Raceceiver System as a safety precaution for all divisions.

Volunteer Speedway prides itself in offering the fans an entertaining evening of exciting, affordable ($7 adult grandstand admission), competitive (six divisions) racing action every Saturday from March through October in a picturesque setting.

Providing a "fan-friendly" facility is a tremendous asset, while a need of ample seating and plenty of parking (shuttle bus to transport fans from the lower parking lot to the top of the hill and the main ticket booth) is a must. First impressions are imbedded in people's minds, and the overall aesthetics (cleanliness of the grounds, with fresh painted buildings) of the complex is what will entice the fans to return.

Yakima Speedway is equidistant between Portland (Oregon), Spokane (Wash.) and Seattle. They are the only half-mile track in the area. Both Ron Bennett, General Manager; and Ted Pollock, Owner; take great pride in the fact that Yakima Speedway is the largest spectator sport in their area, and continually draws larger crowds that the local semi-pro baseball and professional basketball teams. The Saturday night program features Late Models, Super Stock, Hobby Stock, Hornets, and a Bump-to-Pass class.
